Accommodations
All campers under the age of 12 stay in large wooden cabins which sleep 8 to 10 campers and 2 staff members. There are sink and toilet facilities located in most cabins.
Campers 12 years and older stay along the tent line in large canvas tents supported by wooden platforms and frames. The tents are all weather proof and vary in size, sleeping 4 to 8 campers per tent. All campers in tents sleep on beds with mattresses.
There are washroom facilities within close proximity to all the tents located just off the tent line. The washrooms are equipped with individual shower stalls.
Our facilities at Onondaga include a dinning hall, a recreational hall, a large Arts and Crafts centre (our former Dining Hall), four sport fields and plenty of indoor space should the weather not be ideal for outdoor activities. We are located on 400 acres of land and have 3 miles of shoreline with frontage on 3 lakes, mainly on a private lake we refer to as Middle Bob Lake.
An active day at camp requires proper nutrition so our kitchen adheres to the Canadian food guide and our staff help to ensure our campers are eating properly.
We serve 3 great meals a day and provide a small snack before bed for all the campers. We are constantly making changes to our menu in order to provide the best variety and best tasting food around.
